Rodeo Parade — a Tucson tradition
I rode in the 80th Fiesta de los Vaqueros Rodeo Parade on February 24, accompanied by my two daughters and my mom. My 6-year-old GiGi announced to me midway through, “I like riding in the Rodeo Parade better than cotton candy!” Traditions like the Rodeo Parade are part of what makes Tucson like nowhere else. I decorated my buggy with old-time street photos from my book Snapped on the Street. I featured an image of G. Budd Ramsey, one of my favorite folks, with a Boston-Terrier-drawn wagon in the 1949 Rodeo Parade. Budd passed away last year, but I think he would have been proud! You can see photos from the parade in our new Photo Gallery.

Loved being in the Rodeo Parade……..it was very enjoyable to make eye contact with all the people sitting and standing on the streets watching us and waving and smiling at a
of us……….GREAT EXPERIENCE!! And such fun to REACH people with Stephen’s campaign!!

GO STEVE! Great website!
Any community would be incredibly fortunate to have a political representative with your commitment to initiate fiscally-responsible and environmentally-conscious changes. I know you will protect and nurture the best that Tucson has to offer!
Wishing you the greatest success!
