Yep, my appendix went and blew up last Thursday, so that explains why you haven’t seen me around town in recent days–I’ve been busy re-learning how to eat solid food and hunting for veins for an IV drip. (The silver lining was that it was a heckuva weekend for a Wildcat basketball fan to be stuck in bed with a large TV nearby.) I apologize to any of you who were or will be looking for me at various places through mid-April; my doctors have requested that I limit my exertions for a few weeks.
