The General category was the default choice, and in most cases I have indicated a different and specific category for postings. I'll go back through and purge the General comments soon. If you are going to have post categories, don't have a 'General' category. Before you know it, everything will be in there. Take a few minutes and think about what taxonomy your blog really needs. Something like: events, announcement, endorsement, fundraising, fred-watch, and your major issues might be good to start with, and then build new additions from there. I would like to see a more substantial post about the DM neighborhood noise ordinance issue. I really don't understand it too well. As I'm sure many of those not directly affected don't.
